The article, titled \u201cHiring Settles Into Steady Gains; J\"economic<\/a>uly Growth Contributes to Strongest Six-Month Stretch Since 2006,\u201d appeared in the economy section of the print edition as well as online. It gives hard figures about the labor market and employment health, as well as facts and anecdotal evidence regarding the most robust stretch of hiring in post-recession history. Leubdsorf examines whether this hiring lift is cause for general optimism about the economic health of the country.<\/p>\n

Frank related his experience with the continued expansion of DC Group and spoke about the impact of the company\u2019s growth on the local job market. Frank reveals that DC Group\u2019s growth represents a substantial win for Minnesota employment, as the company plans to hire at least 45 people by the end of 2014, bringing the total of hires for the year to 80.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t the first acknowledgement DC Group has received for contributions to the nation\u2019s economy. In 2012, the company received Inc. Magazine\u2019s inaugural “Hire Power Award,” which honored companies assisting with job growth and economic recovery in the U.S.<\/p>\n

First, our field service engineers (FSEs) are full employees, not contractors, and we have hired for a very high level of expertise in our FSE staff\u2014we have more OEM and military experience in our fleet of field service engineers than any other independent service provider. Being employees means that our FSEs have full support and ongoing training at our state-of-the-art training facility. It also means they\u2019re accountable to a boss.<\/p>

We have FSEs in almost every major city, which has cut our average response time in major metro areas to a half hour (our average response time overall holds steady at 2.35 hours). Along with our FSEs, we have strategically located parts hubs. Having the correct parts on hand is crucial to resolving issues quickly, so we keep those parts hubs supplied with OEM-discontinued and rare components as well as the most commonly used and in-demand parts. Additionally, we have two main warehouse locations that manage critical power components inventory and keep everyone stocked up.<\/p>
