Industry-Leading Parts Inventory System

DC Group is the only non-manufacturer service organization to categorize its inventory using bar-coded labels and a fully computerized inventory system. This system enables DC Group to maintain required stock level, check online parts availability and provide easy access to available parts.

“Crash Kits”

For faster service, we have developed “crash kits” for all major models of UPS. These are preassembled kits containing spares of all major parts pertaining to the specific system. In the event of system failure (or “crash”), the kit is immediately shipped to the engineer responding to the call, or to the customer’s site directly. In this way, after engineers diagnose the cause or causes of the failure, they often have the part or parts on hand necessary to bring the system online and avoid expensive downtime.

Parts Stocks & Locations

DC Group’s warehouse at the Minneapolis headquarters houses over 700,000 parts for all brands of UPS and related equipment. We maintain parts stock for new stock equipment, as well as models that are no longer in production to provide our customers the maximum life from their equipment. DC Group also maintains a technical library with over 600 service manuals for UPS modules and related equipment that can be accessed by our technicians in the field.

To expedite acquisition of vital parts customer locations, DC Group has also established a network of Field Parts Depots. Strategic parts are stocked with each field service engineer throughout the U.S., as well as at major customer sites.

Supply Chain Network

Over the past sixteen (16) years, DC Group has established supply chain networks with numerous vendors and freight companies to ensure that customers receive the parts they need when they need them. For same-day delivery, DC Group has partners with NWA, United, Delta, American, US Air, UPS, FedEx, DHL, Sonic Air, Bax Global, C. H. Robinson, Koch Logistics, and more.
